On Monday, January 16, Maine Aqua Ventus provided the following project update:
This past week MAV has continued to work with DOE’s National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) team to prepare for public scoping sessions later this winter. Recent activities include drafting a Public Participation Plan and preparing meeting posters detailing Project components. The MAV team is working with DOE to confirm the date of the public scoping session and will update METF as soon as it is available. DOE will also be updating the following informational website for the Project: https://www.energy.gov/nepa/ea-2049-university-maine-s-new-england-aqua-ventus-1-offshore-wind-advanced-technology. In addition to NEPA activities we have continued outreach activities to keep stakeholders apprised of the Project.
