Maine Aqua Ventus I GP LLC, is private company formed to commercialize the University of Maine floating wind turbine technology known as VolturnUS, as part of a pilot-scale demonstration offshore wind farm in response to the US Department of Energy Advanced Technology Demonstration Program. The three partners in the company are Maine Prime Technologies, LLC (a spin-off company from the University of Maine), Emera Inc., and Cianbro Corporation.
